Lalbabu Pandit, has said that the new constitution has paved the way for the country’s prosperity.At the inaugural ceremony of the Second Grand Book Exhibition and Literary Festival-2072 organised at Bhrikutimandap today, Minister Pandit expressed the view that the new constitution would take the country towards the path of prosperity and development. The expo is organised by the Dikura Publications and Read and Grow Rich. Stating that the constitution of Nepal was not like a stone inscription, he said therefore it could be amended as per the time on the basis of national need and welfare.Minister Pandit expressed the belief that the expo would be useful, stressing that development of reading habit would significantly contribute to building a civilized society. Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal, W M. Senevirathne, said that such expo would be useful to get different types of books at one place and added that this opportunity should be maximally utilized. Chairperson of the Dikura Publications, Punya Prasad Prasain, said that reading culture was directly linked with the development of the society.The expo will run till October 5 and over 100,000 readers are expected to visit the expo, added Prasain.
