Basanti Maharjan, December 28, 2016 (DCnepal) – It has been about 2 years since the massive earthquake hit Nepal and ruined everything. 12th of Baiskah 2072 (25th April, 2015) is considered as the black day for all Nepalese as this day was the most horrific day for the people.
Several people lost their lives, many people became homeless and lots of structures and heritages were demolished and cracked. Similarly, several people from Nuwakot district too have become homeless and have been living now in temporary house (tents) since past more than one and half years.
Rajendra Prasad Nepal, Earthquake victims of Nuwakot said they have been suffering lot as even the relief amount 50, 000 rupees that has been declared by the government to provide for quake victims too they have not got and temples, schools that are demolished by the earthquake too has not been repaired yet. He said from the government the quake victims of Nuwakot have not got any support as they have expected.
Victims of Nuwakot that had been ruined completely by the massive earthquake has been saying that it’s going to be almost two years since earthquake destroyed everything but also till the date they have not got the relief amount that the government has distributed.
As well as Nepal, quake victims of Nuwakot said we can hear lots of news that the government has sent engineers to each village for the data collection and monitoring though in their village no any engineers have been reached as they were completely unknown about the engineers
